Chad Rinn, Director, Writer, Director of Photgraphy,
Editor-
Chad has eight years experience making independent films, and has
been a published writer since 1995. His stories have appeared in
several publications such as FASTER than SHEEP and Equilibrium. He
wrote, produced, edited and co-directed his first feature length
film “Half Ass Jig” in 2000, which was based on his first novel, and
he later adapted it to a comic strip that ran in the Boise Weekly.
After being the director of photography on Cecilia’s award-winning
shorts “Full Circle” and “Fire & isis”, Chad also filmed and edited
BELLY a feature length documentary about bellydancers.
Cecilia Rinn, Producer, Co-Director, Assistant Editor–
Cecilia is a filmmaker, artist, professional seamstress and costume
designer with Full Tilt Boogie L.L.C. She has also been a
professional belly-dancer for over 10 years. Cecilia produced Half
Ass Jig, a feature length film that has been re-edited into a 6
episode TV series, a series of “Work in Sanity” short films, all of
which have screened at the Idaho International Film Festival, and
A.C.T. a promotional documentary for The After School Children’s
Theater. Cecilia has also directed and produced, BELLY a feature
length documentary, and three short dance documentaries, “Spiral”,
“Fire & Isis” and “Full Circle”, two of which have won awards.
Cecilia is also an artist who has designed and created promotional
items, for films, costumes, clothing, comic books, and dance.
Chad & Cecilia Rinn both live in Boise, Idaho with their two adult
sons, Jacob and Joe, their two dogs, Pink and Zoe, and their turtle,
Bob.
Thomas Brown, Associate Producer, Writer , Production
Sound Mixer and Lighting Designer/ Technician -
Thomas Brown lives in Washington D.C. where his vocation is
broadcasting and his primary avocation is micro budget digital
cinematography. He has worn a number of hats on a handful of feature
length movies and short subjects including "White Devil", an
adaptation of the classic play by John Webster, which he
photographed and directed.
Thomas lives with his wife Amy, the rabbit Harold, and a peculiarly
reclusive guinea pig named Ruth.
Lynzsea Sky Williams, Assistant Director, Production
Assistant –
Lynzsea Sky Williams first started working in film in 2000 while she
was a freshmen at Kimberly High School. She completed her first
short/PSA on recycling entitled 'The Breath of Nature' for a
scholarship to the Art Institute of Seattle in 2003. In the summer
of 2005, she was hired by Evil Wine Films as an assistant director,
script supervisor, and producer on the full-length feature film 'The
Seven Sins of Daniel Tucker.' She is a member of Dead Eight
Productions and Reel Women of the West.
Dennis Carr, post production sound guru–
Audio editor Dennis Carr jumped (literally) at the chance to work on
this film. He saw it as an opportunity to test his abilities in the
full range of sound and picture. Having logged countless hours
recording and mixing rock bands in his home studio, and recently
earning a degree in Sound Arts, “Belly” is Dennis’s first
full-length film project.
Cast:
Robert McMinn:
Robert's projects range from running for elected political office in
2002 to hosting the Northwest Animal Companions "Pet-of-the-Week"
segment on KBCI's morning show alternate Tuesdays. His original song
"Supernova," on which he performs vocals and electric bouzouki, is
available on the "Idaho Greentracks" compilation CD. He and fellow
members of the Sagebrush Players Collective collaboratively write,
perform and produce the Boise Community Radio Project's "Sagebrush
Variety Show," which includes the serial comedy-drama "Ukiah Digby
for Coroner." Robert also starred in Full Tilt Boogie’s short films
“Triple “U”” and “Thai Chicken”.
Jacob Rinn:
Jacob has acted in the feature films “Half Ass Jig”, “Pizza Man Vs
The Dude” and, “Le Divan Vert”, Jacob has also played roles in the
short films “Gray: The assassins of Logos” and, “Breaking Cycles”,
which premiered at the 2004 Idaho international Film Festival. Jacob
was the principle still photographer on Full Tilt Boogie’s feature
documentary “BELLY”. Jacob has also worked as a production assistant
and assistant director on many productions. Jacob is currently
working on the zombie script.
Gavin Johnson:
Gavin has been into doing make-up special effects since the age of
13, and acting since the age of 15. He has been in 5 film projects
to date, done special effects for four of those. As well he has been
in over 40 stage productions at the high school, and college levels.
He has taken film courses in 3-D graphic design, creature make-up,
accents, directing, and stage presence. His biggest influences
include: Lloyd Kaufman, George Romero, Akira Kurosawa, and Tom
Savini
Itheyla Post:
Itheyla is a co-creator, instructor, and choreographer of Cairo
Fusion, a local Bellydance fusion group in Boise, Idaho. She has an
extensive background in gymnastics, which she skillfully
incorporates in her dancing. Along with her many performances at
festivals, Arabic weddings, and local events, Itheyla has
occasionally added grace and beauty to the fabulous Brothers of the
Baladi of Portland, OR, and Nada Brahma of Boise, ID. “Captain
Cannibal is Itheyla’s acting debut.
Neem:
Neem is a 2-year old bantam cochin hen who lives in South Boise
where she helps maintain an organic garden by eating bugs and
providing fertilizer. She and her coopmate Quincy frequently take
their bug-eating and fertilizing services "on the road" to the
gardens of friends and neighbors.
